Personal Effectiveness. Time-management

The module is devoted to the most common and their individual interpretation of time in order to define the criteria for effective time-management

• The concept of time
• Individual time line
• Determination of time loss factors
• Formulating criteria for the effective time usage
• Identifying time reserves (timekeeping and task management)
• Definition and analysis of their typical way of organizing time, taking into account individual biorhythms

The module is devoted to analyzation of typical approach to time management. They also study effective ways of planning their time (forward and backward planning, the Eisenhower principle, the Pareto law, АВС-analysis, building a Gantt diagram, value tree: goals and values hierarchy) in relation to their personal goals and values

The module is devoted to the reasons for work-related stress and pressure identifying time-wasters and the reasons for the rush. They also work out ways of stress management including but not limited to refocusing, resource states, and immediate relaxation techniques

The module is devoted to different tools and approaches to delegating responsibility to one’s subordinates, discuss advantages and disadvantages of delegation, its zones, levels, stages of control, and ways of overcoming challenges in delegation

• Using Mind Maps for effective planning
• "Personal assistants": work with phone, diary, electronic organizer
• "Internal alarm clock" and sense of time
• Basics of typology: what you need to know about yourself, to allocate time as efficiently as possible, deep motivation
• Features of national time management: culturally conditioned stereotypes of time perception
• Effective ways of working together with representatives of different cultures
• Creating a new conscious and effective time management strategy
