'BusinessStrike' simulation is EMAS Business School learning platform which models real business processes and in safe environment (not putting financial resources at risk). Therefore it allows to assess the participants’ strategic management, company strategy development and execution skills, including but not limited to skills which are necessary for assets management during M&A (merger and acquisition)

This module is dedicated to studying and training the planning, supervision and organization skills of the company's business processes that are necessary for conducting a successful business and ensuring positive results of the company's activities.

The module is devoted to the basic aspects of project management covering the problems related to changes in organizations and suggesting project management as a way to ensure sustainability of positive change.

Students discuss the role of planning in project management and methods of running the company with the help of project management. They also study the organizational structure of a company which is known to rely on project management methods of work. They also learn how to streamline communication in a project team, manage risks and assess the project completion

The module is devoted to the modern approaches to building effective relationship systems in HR management so that each student could consolidate theis knowledge in HR management and introduce new practices in their company.

Students discuss the characteristics of the labour market and study the systematic approach to goal-setting in HR, defining the role of company top management in HR management, HR strategy and HR policy.

Students study the main HR management tools necessary during the search, hiring, probation and firing processes and ensuring the assessment of staff qualification and personal qualities.

Each student systematize knowledge in HR-management and implement it in their companies work

The module is devoted to time management elaborating on the skills, tools and methods that ensure timely completion of projects and tasks including but not limited to planning, distribution of tasks, goal-setting, delegating, estimating, monitoring, organizing, setting schedules and priorities.

Students discuss the most common and their individual interpretation of time in order to define the criteria for effective time-management. The program participants then analyze their typical approach to time management. They also study effective ways of planning their time (forward and backward planning, the Eisenhower principle, the Pareto law, АВС-analysis, building a Gantt diagram, value tree: goals and values hierarchy) in relation to their personal goals and values.

Students study different tools and approaches to delegating responsibility to one’s subordinates, discuss advantages and disadvantages of delegation, its zones, levels, stages of control, and ways of overcoming challenges in delegation

The module is devoted to development of verbal skills.

Students define what a good public speakers means and analyze ways of forming an image of a public speaker. They define verbal and non-verbal constituents of eloquence and analyze presentation stages as well as basic principles of managing the audience while presenting and examine most typical mistakes of a public speaker that affect the presentation and learn how to avoid making such mistakes.

Students work out a scheme of preparing the presentation which covers defining presentation goals, anticipating audience expectations, designing criteria for assessing the presentation effectiveness, considering meta-message and the role of the first impression in creating the emotional appeal.

Special emphasis is also put on how to build rapport with the audience including but not limited to non-verbal communication skills.

At the end of the program students are given an opportunity to demonstrate their new skills and deliver a speech in public

This module is devoted to the study and development of one of the most modern technologies in achieving important goals for you at the optimal time by mobilizing the internal potential, developing the necessary skills and developing new skills.

The module is devoted to the most effective and reliable tools in corporate finance management that ensure the optimal value of the business and are widely practiced in international businesses.

Students get an overview of various approaches to managing company expenditure and study the issues of budget control and main approaches to budget preparation. They also study the main task of financial management which consists in working capital management and discuss some approaches to money resources, debitors and creditors, stock management on viewing practical examples

The module is devoted to learning effective approaches, methods and tools widely used for setting up sales systems in response to the industrial and FMCG market requirements. It also gives an overview of some modern techniques in sales administration and familiarizes the program participants with negotiation techniques which ensure that the desired effect is achieved with minimum effort.

Students discuss the process of sales strategy design and development of a day-by-day algorithm of work for a sales department. They also study the algorithm of managing a sales department by means of taking on the right people, streamlining the department activity, motivating sales people, planning sales events and figures, and monitoring results. The program participants discuss the sales technology as a dynamic system and work out criteria for assessing the company sales force competence.

Students study different manipulation techniques for negotiation and practice manipulating and resisting manipulation. They also discuss the role of emotions in negotiations and the impact – both positive and negative – they make on the negotiation outcome and study the techniques how to make use of the negotiation partner emotions

The module is devoted to the company speed of work as a key strategic competitive advantage in business. Students discuss why it is so and study the "Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM)" concept defining its key characteristics as well as advantages and restrictions in comparison to “lean management". They learn what company management accounting should be like to introduce QRM and learn how to calculate production cost, profitability and selling prices correctly.

Students learn the principles and tools for developing and organizing the company production units work in line with the QRM concept: production critical path; QRM cells, focused target market segment, system dynamics, POLCA tool. They also discuss the issues related to possible changes that might need to be introduced into the company corporate culture and examine examples of successful QRM integration experience of foreign and Russian companies.

They learn how to integrate QRM and form the KPI system based on the speed of delivery indicators. The program participants then define the contours of the QRM implementation roadmap for their companies, describe their companies’ business processes – the way it is now and the way it should be maps

Students learn legal mechanisms of interaction between owners in the international legislation. Special attention is paid to countering corporate threats, including corporate raid .

This module is also devoted to studying the legal framework for doing business, analyzing key legal aspects that must be taken into account when entering the market and competitive behavior in the market, strategies for legal support and protection of the interests of the company in the course of business, options for organizing the legal service of the company, advantages and disadvantages of working with external legal advisers

The module is devoted to the concept of business planning.

Students are given an overview of a business plan structure and its development stages depending on the size of business (small or medium). They are also familiarized with the practicality of relevant international and domestic standards as well as opportunities of using a business plan in management.

Students learn how to prepare a marketing and cash flow plan. They analyze a business plan purpose and examine expectations of potential partners, banks and creditors in terms of a business plan under analysis

By being part of society, business is subject to the same set of norms and rules of behavior as individuals. Some of these rules are included in legislation and enforced by the government, whilst others fall into the area of ethics and morality. Business’ behavior is assessed by other members of society and is either supported or opposed by them. Ethical and moral decisions and behavior affects business strategy and day-to-day operations.

Business ethics encompasses three elements each of which will be the focus of this module:

• The relationship between the business and society;
• The effects of the business operation on the society and environment;
• The ethical and moral aspects of the behavior of the staff in a company.

The module is devoted to the concept of a learning organization and ways of its creation in a company. A learning organization is an organization that flexibly reacts to changes in the environment and which focuses on developing its internal potential so that the speed of its internal development outruns the speed of changes in the market.

The technology of knowledge management (increasing the effectiveness of business processes through the exchange, generation, dissemination and use of knowledge) is presented as the basis of a learning organization
