Today as part of our regular column "Better, Smarter, Stronger!" we are pleased to tell you about our outstanding student and simply incredible woman Zulfiya Batdalova.
Zulfiya is the founder of Kidney Children's Clinic in Makhachkala, Republic of Dagestan, Russia. She has always loved children, and in her practice, she treated every little patient as her own child - with the same degree of love and care. She wanted to create a team of specialists to whom you could entrust yourself and your child. So the idea of opening her own clinic was born.
When Zulfiya decided to set up her clinic, someone close to her encouraged her by saying, "Don't be afraid. Go ahead, and you will succeed». This is what she would like to say to aspiring entrepreneurs, noting the fact that you should study the market first, and then go straight ahead.
Now the clinic runs numerous training seminars and educational cycles with the support of the Ministry of Health, where prominent speakers with invaluable experience give presentations, which is a matter of pride for our heroine. She notes that she is learning to plan for the future together with EMAS, and the scenario-based approach helps her with this. Zulfiya's immediate goals for professional growth are to develop a training center, open a children's surgical department, and open a small (for starters) clinic in Moscow.
Zulfiya has a busy life, and in addition to her successful professional career and happy family, she has countless hobbies and interests, which she approaches with her characteristic thoroughness and passion. Our heroine collects exotic plants, her collection includes about 250 exotic plant species. Zulfiya enjoys painting and loves to depict her wonderful plants. She also has a collection of baby bootees and jugs.
To stay productive, you need to recharge and get plenty of rest. But Zulfiya is not the type of person for whom passive rest will do. Zulfiya boosts her energy through her passion for travel and tourism - she has traveled the Altai Mountains, traveled as far as the glaciers, and crossed all of Armenia to the Iranian border, all the while hiking with only freezing water.
Our heroine believes she owes all her achievements to the people around her. "As they say, in life you should get lucky in three things: who you were born to, who you studied under, and who you married. And here I scored a 10 on all counts," she says. She appreciates the people around her, she is proud of them - her family, her team, her teachers, and experts. And we are thrilled that Zulfiya chose us to be a part of her invaluable environment by applying to the DBA program in Strategic Management: Healthcare Management in a full-time format.
